Troy Pierre II is a multi-hyphenate artist, director and film photographer from New Orleans, Louisiana. A graduate of Loyola University New Orleans, he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Filmmaking. An artist and writer at heart, he pursued filmmaking out of his love for it but, furthermore for his love of its integration of various art forms and the ability to engage in them all for a cohesive vision. With primary focus in visual related art, written works and creative direction, he’s grown to craft meaningful work in various mediums, including photography and film. His short film, “The Reckoning,” has won several festivals in Brazil and Greece for its screenplay and performance. “The Tide’s Turning,” a photographic collage, was featured in downtown New Orleans on a billboard and he has also had work shown in The Presbytère.
